  • Maureen's day began @ 8:08AM. She is engaged for the most part. The diaper is medium wet. We began by giving Maureen a bed bath with the wipes from the purple packet and Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam. This has become a standard each Wednesday morning. Maya wrapped up by applying 3M Cavilon Barrier Cream and No-Sting Barrier Film to the appropriate areas. Lastly, she applied a thin later of Nystatin Ointment to the right inner forearm/elbow and underneath the right breast.

  • Breakfast service commenced @ 8:50AM. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is good. Maya started off by administering the thyroid medication. Maureen did not handle breakfast well this morning. She coughed 10 times—far greater than the typical average of 3.

  • Maureen will consume approximately 4 ounces of prune juice today.

  • Daily MiraLAX Dosage: None

  • 9:28AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

  • 9:35AM - Morning oral care. Maya examined the upper right gum area around the implant. It remains slightly red/inflamed.

  • 9:55AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drop administration.

  • 10:25 - Organic fruit smoothie. Maureen coughed only once about five minutes after she finished drinking the smoothie.

  • 10:52AM - Rest break #1 is fast approaching. We took Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. We perfumed a standard clean and change. Lastly, we placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:07AM - First rest period begins. Maureen will remain on her right side for the next hour.

  • 12:05PM - Rest period #1 ends. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had a small soft bowel movement. We performed a clean and change and got Maureen dressed.

  • 12:15PM - Maureen's sister Kathy came to team up with Maya, otherwise knows as KAMA, to shampoo and style Maureen's hair. As usual, it was a hair raising experience. As soon as they completes their masterpiece, KAMA rushed out the door. They have an exclusive appointment at the North Pole with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves. Santa wanted KAMA to groom the reindeer. This is so below KAMA.

  • 12:30PM - Maya put a fresh set of linens on Maureen's bed.

  • 12:55PM - Lunch | 1/2 turkey sandwich with melted cheese and mayonnaise on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of vegetable soup and a serving of garlic green beans. Maureen will consume one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen will have a small serving of rice pudding courtesy of our friends at Whole Foods. Maureen handled lunch quite well. She only cough once.

  • 1:48PM - Afternoon oral care.

  • 2:00PM - Rest break #2. We headed to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. We performed a clean and change. Upon conclusion, we positioned Maureen on her left side.
