Novembe 17 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is in and out of sleep. Maya says Maureen has been in this state since she arrived at 6:30am.

• 8:30am Maureen is awake. Our morning begins. Diaper is dry. Maya and I noted the redness under Maureen's waist is gone. We washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:54am Administered Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 8:57am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 8 oz prune juice, cup of water. 4 coughs.

• 9:27am Administered Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce.

• 9:30am Oral care.

• 9:35am Morning facial routine.

• 9:40am We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch.

• General Observation @ 10:15am - We had another routine start to our day today. Maureen was in and out of sleep since 6:30am and we got started as soon as she was ready to do so. Maureen was full of energy during breakfast but began to fade around 10:00am. Maya and I have not seen any seizure-like symptoms at all. Congestion is evident and Maureen was able to cough up phlegm. We have not seen any red faced coughs or heard any grinding coughs.

• 10:40am Fruit smoothie. 2 coughs.

• 11:00am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:26am.

• 12:26pm Rest break #1 is through. Maureen's diaper is medium wet and she had a very small, formed bowel movement - we performed a clean and change and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:50pm We decided to go off menu today for lunch - gyros with tzatziki sauce, a small serving of French fries, and a side order of beets. Maureen will consume one bottle of organic coconut water. Maureen only coughed once.

• 1:38pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. We also noted a patch of skin on Maureen's sacrum that is brown in color. We cannot determine if this is a new pressure ulcer or not. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:11pm.

• 3:11pm Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change and headed to the front room.

• 3:30pm Fruit snack.
