Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake - lying on her left side. Looking calm - no signs of distress or pain.

8:30AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Dalia started full body bed bath using warm water with Cetaphil

cleanser, no redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, no discharges present. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream folds. Finished dressing and proceed to wash Maureen's hair. Transferred to the kitchen after to dry and style hair.

9:15AM - Gave 8oz prune juice with 1 cap MiraLAX. She also had half a cup of lemon water.

**Hair getting dried and styled.

9:35AM - Breakfast - oatmeal/ fruit smoothie and Activia yogurt. No coughs.

9:55AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

10:05AM - Neb treatment - Saline soln and Albuterol.

10:30AM - Oral care.

10:35AM - Eye care/eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine, followed.

10:50AM - Father Tom arrived to do Anointing of the Sick.

**Maureen closed her eyes/nap most of the time.

11:35AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry - no discharges. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

12:40PM - BP: 108/70, P: 76 bpm

Lunch - chicken noodle soup and guacamole. Maureen had a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once and able to coughed out phlegm by herself.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to eating lunch for comfort.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen sitting on recliner - looking relaxed and comfortable, awake.

Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed bowel movement and small clear vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had sips of water.
