Monday November 6, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen just opened her eyes calmly, no twitching. She’s lying on her left.

• 7:00am She‘s in and out of sleep. Taking sips of water via swab.

• 7:30am Maureen’s closing her eyes from time to time.

• 8:10am Maureen’s fully awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:20am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Joanna and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Slight redness by her right armpit remains, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:40am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 6oz prune juice and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for breakfast. Coughed once.

• 9:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie. Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• Daily Miralax dosage: none.

• 9:10am Morning oral care.

• 9:20am Eyes care/drops and facial routine.

• 10:30am Maureen took a 30 minutes nap soon after her morning routine. She’s now sitting relaxed and alert.

• Maureen’s refusing lemon water this morning.

• 11:00am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was dry. Positioned on her right side starting at 11:10

• 12:10pm First break ends. Diaper was dry ; dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:20pm Blood pressure: 117/74, P 66.

• 12:25pm Lunch: Cabbage/chicken soup with 1/2 slice toasted bread, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 2:00pm Maureen finished drinking her first cup of lemon water.

• 2:10pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Diaper was heavy wet with Small-soft BM, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her Lt side at 2:25.

• Maureen’s been awake and alert most of the day. She shows no signs of congestion, only couple of coughs so far. Energy level is moderate.

• 3:15pm Second break ends. CleanEd and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:35pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). No coughs.
