Monday November 27, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen is lying on her left with Tom by her side . She‘s accepting sips of water via swab after recently waking up:

• 7:00am Maureen went back to sleep.

• 7:30am She’s in and out of sleep.

• 8:00am Maureen’s still sleepy.

• 8:30am She’s closing her eyes from time to time.

• 9:00am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce, she closed her eyes right after.

• 9:45am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness observed. Emily and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 10:00am Breakfast: oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. Coughed once, suction pump used.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 10:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

• 10:30am Morning oral care.

• 10:40am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 11:00am Maureen is snoozing.

• 11:30am Blood pressure: 118/68, P 71.

• Maureen had 1/4 cup of cucumber water.

• 11:40am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side at 11:50.

• 12:45pm First resting break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:55pm Lunch: Cabbage Soup, chicken salad, sliced beet, full cup of sparkling water, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen’s morning was sleepy one. By the contrary, this afternoon she’s awake and alert , energy level is up as most of the time it’s during pm.

• 2:25pm Maureen had half cu of cucumber water.

• 2:30pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. positioned on her left side starting at 2:45.

• 3:30pm Second resting break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the front area.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). Coughed once.
