Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake however, still looking a bit sleepy, facing her left side. Looking calm, no signs of pain or distress.

8:40AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:55AM - Me and Dalia started to give Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water with Cetaphil cleanser. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We dressed her and proceed to wash her hair. Transferred to the kitchen after to dry and style her hair.

9:25AM - Gave Maureen her 6 oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and continue to blow-dry and style her hair.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:40AM - Gave the rest of her breakfast - oatmeal/fruit smoothie and yogurt. Coughed 2x.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

10:05AM - Oral care.

10:10AM - Eye care and eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care.

10:40AM - Maureen was relaxed while sitting on the recliner. Less phlegmy and coughing today. She was able to cough up some by herself. Looking sleepy but stayed awake.

11:00AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, no discharges. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still dry, no discharges present. We proceed to dress Maureen and moved to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and chicken-broccoli soup. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water and half a cup of lemon water. She had a cookie for dessert. Coughed 2x, used suction machine once to help get rid if the phlegm.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen stayed awake although looking a little bit sleepy.

Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small soft BM. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face the left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:42PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. Sneezed once.
