Memorial Day- Monday, May 29 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping. She is laying on her left side.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still sound asleep

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep..

  • 9:00 am- No change, Maureen is still sound asleep.

  • 9:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

  • 11:00am- Maureen is still deeply asleep. Noise and talking doesn't seem to wake her up.

  • 11:37 am- Maureen slowly opened her eyes and stared twitching. Eyes got wide open . Pulse was in the upper 80-s when we placed the oxymeter on. It continued to go higher. At 11:40 it was 120 and going up. At 11:50 it picked at 150. We administered 0.1 ml of Lorazepam. In the next couple of minutes it started going down quickly.

  • 12:00 pm- Pulse is in the mid 80-s. We raised the bed and are giving Maureen a tiny sips of water via swab.

  • 12:15 pm- We administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 12:30 pm- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45 pm- Lunch- 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, chicken and vegetables soup, half of yogurt, a few spoons of frappe, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once. She doesn't have much energy, looks tired and sleepy.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

  • 1:15 pm- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril. We reclined Maureen's chair down one level.

  • 1:20 pm- Oral care.

  • 1:30 pm- Facial routine.

  • 2:00 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair, closing her eyes at times.

  • 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to bed. Diaper was dry. Positioned her on the right side at 2:30 pm.

  • 3:20 pm- Rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We waited a little and tried to stimulate either a BM or urination with no luck. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

  • 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and pear.

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side, comfortably sleeping. 8:20AM - She opened her eyes, no signs of any distress. Gave her sips of water via swab. 8:30AM - Maureen went back to close her eyes to slee
