Monday, March 6 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. Tom said that she's been awake since the last change at 5:45 am. She is laying on her right side, calm and relaxed, no signs of discomfort.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still awake.

• 8:15 - Maureen looks ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We next washed Maureen's upper body. There was a slight redness again in her waist area. We washed, cleaned and applied a thin layer of Nystatin. There was a redness under her right breast. After washing and drying, we applied Nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:30 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30 am- Breakfast- green velvet donut, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax. Maureen coughed twice and was able to cough out a phlegm.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:00 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 9:10 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:15 am- Facial routine.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, enjoying Carolyn's company.

• 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was wet and had a extra large very soft bowel movement in. Her diaper was very heavy and full. It leaked on her pants. Joanna and I washed and cleaned Maureen thoroughly. Changed and positioned her on the left side at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- mushrooms soup, shrimp salad, mango salsa, little rice pudding, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed three times.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 1:30- Maureen is resting in the chair.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 2:10 pm.

• 3:10 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Joanna and cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit- watermelon and strawberries. No coughs.
