Monday, March 20 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep. She is calm and relaxed.

  • 8:45 am - Maureen is awake and we started the day. Diaper was medium wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. There was no redness observed. We next washed Maureen's upper body. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:00 am- Breakfast- omelette, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax. We started with administering the Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed twice.

  • 9:30 am- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin with apple sauce.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

  • 9:45 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

  • 9:50 am- Facial routine.

  • 9:55 am- We transferred Maureen to the living room, waiting for father May.

  • 10:00 am- We noticed two red spots on Maureen's left forearm that seem like bite marks. Hydrocortisone was applied.

  • 10:05 am- Maureen is snoozing in the recliner.

  • 11:00 am- Father Tom May is here to visit Maureen alongside her family.

  • 11:45 am - We took Maureen to the bedroom for a change. Her diaper was dry. We changed her shirt and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:10 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, ham salad, fresh tomatoe, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed twice.

  • 12:45 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.

  • 1:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with a large soft bowel movement in. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her thoroughly. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 1:50 pm.

  • 3::20 pm- The extended break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:40 am- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.
