Monday March 11, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is asleep, lying on her left side. Tom tells, she woke around 6:30am with slight twitching for about 7 minutes, accepted sips of water via swab after and has been in and out of sleep since.

• 8:45am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:55am Merianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Diaper was dry but changed anyway, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacral area and Cavilon cream to inner thighs and buttock cheeks. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15am Administered 2-50mg Senna plus pills (crushed) with apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:30am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoons of Greek yogurt. Coughed twice.

• 9:45pm Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• No Miralax, Senna plus instead.

• 10:00am Morning oral care.

• 10:10am Facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits with relaxed arms watching a Disney movie. At the end, she napped for 25 minutes.

• 10:45am Blood pressure: 102/60, P 76.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was heavy wet with a Large- soft BM, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side at 11:45am.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Mushrooms soup, toasts topped with guacamole, full cup of sparkling water and chocolate cake with Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once, nose was runny after.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during meal for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is napping in the chair.

• 2:30pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the second resting break of the day. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned cleaned then positioned on her left side.

• 3:35pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). Also had half cup of lemon water. No coughs
