Monday July 29, 2024 Daytime update

Happy birthday Maureen !!! 🎉❤️🙏

• 8:00am Maureen’s in bed with Tom, calmly accepting sips of water via swab. Tom tells, she woke up briefly around 7:15.

• 8:40am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:50am Tom and I started the day by giving Maureen and upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Noticed slight trace of vaginal discharge on the diaper. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:10am Breakfast: Coffee, cup of lemon water, fresh pear, 6oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a spoonful of yogurt. Coughed twice, suction pump used once.

• 9:30am Administered 1-50mg Senna plus with apple sauce.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:45 Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• After breakfast, Maureen had a sneezing/red face episode .

• Daily Miralax dosage: None, Senna plus instead.

• 10:00am Oral care.

• 10:10am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen’s sitting relaxed and alert while watching the Olympics.

• 11:20am Blood pressure: 99/60, P 66.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side. Slightly visible vaginal discharge observed.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper; no vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Sweet peas soup, roasted red pepper hummus with parm crisps, full cup of sparkling water, and strawberry cake for dessert. Coughed once a had another sneezing with red face episode.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during meal, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• Carolyn visits Maureen.

• Maureen stayed awake the whole time after lunch. She had 3/4 cup of cranberry juice in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, no vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 1/4 cup of cranberry juice.
