Monday, February 27 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is calmly laying on her right side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time. She is still calm and relaxed.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still awake, closing her eyes for a few minutes here and there.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is awake. At times she closes her eyes for a few minutes.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake and ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied 3 M Cavilon products. There is a slight redness on the abdominal fold. We applied Nystatin. We saw a red ring around her anal atea. Since we have never seen redness there, we cleaned it well, applied Cavilon Barrier cream. Dalia and I next washed Maureen's upper body. There was a redhead under her left breast and the beginning of a redhead under her right one. We applied a thin layer of nystatin. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:51 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. No coughs during breakfast.

• 9:20 am- Administered Lisinopril and 1 crushed tablet Ciprofloxacin.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:24 am- Reclined Maureen's chair.

• 9:25 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:30 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:35 am- Facial routine.

• 9:30 am- We cleaned Maureen's nose with the manual suction. Mucus came out.

• Maureen looks like she has a good energy this morning. She is not congested. No coughs, no sneezing. . She still leans forward though. We reclined the chair before brushing her teeth.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is relaxing in the chair. Her energy is fading now.

• 10:35 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:05 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned Maureen on her left side at 11:15 am.

• 12:05 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:20 pm- Lunch- cabbage soup, tuna salad, mango salad, bottle of coconut water. Two coughs, three sneezes.We reclined Maureen's chair during lunch because she was leaning forward and her head was down.

• Djon visited Maureen. She gave him a few smiles!

• 1:00 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. Maureen will lie down on her right side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet with a large formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned thoroughly and changed. Applied Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:35 pm- Fruit snack.
