Monday February 26, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left. Tom tells, she’s been in and out of sleep since 5:30am.

• 8:35am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.

• 8:45am Marianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Redness by her right armpit it’s slightly visible, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Cleaned/changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Noticed slight redness spot near the coxis, cleaned and dried gently, treated area with Cavilon barrier film. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:05am Administered 2-50mg Senna plus pills (crushed) w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:20am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoons of yogurt. Coughed twice. Maureen was able to get some phlegm out on her own.

• 9:40am Administered 10mg Loratadine w/smoothie.

• No Miralax, Senna plus instead.

• 9:50am Morning oral care.

• 10:00 Eyes clean/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen’s is enjoying a Disney movie. She napped for about 20 minutes.

• 11:00pm Blood pressure: 110/63, P 73.

• Maureen had 1/4 cup of ginger tea.

• 11:20am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side starting at 11:35.

• 12:20pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:35pm Lunch: French onion soup, chicken salad, beets, full cup of coconut water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed twice during meal.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, she was leaning forward.

• 1:10pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen sits relaxed and in good spirits while listening to her playlist. Had half cup of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), 2 prunes and 3/4 cup of lemon water.
