Monday February 19, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake, lying on her left side. As per Tom, she woke up around 6ish, accepted sips of water via swab and, has been in and out of sleep since.

• 8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.

• 8:40am Marianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta, changed and cleaned a md wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier and cream. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Administered 50mg Senna plus w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie w/2 prunes and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. No coughs.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• No Miralax, Senna plus instead.

• 9:40am Morning oral care.

• 9:50am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:20am Blood pressure: 112/72, P 74.

• 10:30am Maureen sits with relaxed arms while watching an animated movie.

• Maureen closed her briefly few times during the film.

• 11:10am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side at 11:20.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed and heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:25pm Lunch: Chicken/noodle soup, shrimp salad, sliced beets, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt topped with Fannie May chocolate for dessert. Coughed twice.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:10pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is in good spirits listening to her playlist. She was chatty during lunch and has been awake the whole time since first break.

• Maureen had 2/3 cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s Maureen’s second resting break. Cleaned/changed a heavy wet diaper and inserted a suppository. Positioned on her left side starting at 2:45.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. No BM yet, cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper. Dressed and headed Maureen to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). No coughs.
