Monday, Aug. 18, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, lying on her left side and still looking a little bit sleepy. Dalia informed she coughed and used suction machine to take out phlegm. She took water via swab. O2 via nasal cannula at 98%, P: 62bpm

8:15AM - She closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:45AM - Maureen is still sleeping.

9:15AM - She woke up, no signs of pain or distress. We placed her on her back and in an upright position administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:25AM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

9:45AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using water and Cetaphil cleanser - no redness on skin. Diaper was dry with very light, brownish spot. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed her and proceed to wash the hair.

10:05AM - We transferred to the front room. Maureen had 10oz of lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed (wet) 2-3x, used suction machine, and had multiple sneezes.

Breakfast - waffle with butter & drizzled with syrup, pear and 5oz of water with electrolyte powder. Coughed once (wet), she was able to cough it out herself. O2 at 98%.

10:50AM - Oral care.

11:00AM - Eye care/eye drops routine. Hand care routine followed.

11:30AM - Maureen's leaning back on the recliner, looking calm and awake.

11:50AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got her dressed and moved to the front room.

12:50PM - Lunch - chicken salad, tomato, roasted pepper and veggie soup. Maureen took 3 oz lemon water. Coughed 2x.

1:15PM - Shelly, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Good bowel sounds heard, lungs cleared. Albuterol will be given as needed, continue with saline 2x a day. Discontinue with the cough syrup and O2. Monitor O2 Sat regulary.

T - 97.8

O2 - 93% P - 70 bpm

BP: 104/70

2:05PM - Administered 1 tab 500mg Tylenol (crushed) with apple sauce due to continued frowning.

2:35PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break, diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her, position to face the right side. O2 at 96% room air.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we dressed her and moved to the front room.

3:40PM - Maureen had 4oz lemon water. Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
