Monday, April 10 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen was waking up as I walked in. She was calm and relaxed.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen has still been in and out of sleep.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is awake and we started the day.Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We next washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:30 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35 am- Breakfast- - oatmeal with 1/4 or banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1 cup.

• 9:10 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.

• 9:15 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:20 am- Facial routine.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is still asleep in the chair.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is awake. She finished the rest of her first cup of lemon water.

• 10:35 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen didn't cough.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break and a change. Her diaper was medium wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed Maureen. She will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 11:40 am- Maureen took a nap in bed for about 10 minutes . She looked tired this morning. There is no congestion or runny nose, coughing was minimal.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was light wet. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- broccoli and cheddar soup, shrimp salad, fresh tomatoe, cup of water with a little coconut water in. Maureen didn't cough. She finished her water during lunch.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in her chair. She has a little more energy than this morning.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and her second rest break. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. We massaged her lower abdominal area to stimulate a bowel movement. Also we inserted a Bisacodyl laxative suppository. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Second rest break is. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet and she had an extra large formed bowel movement. Joanna and I cleaned Maureen thoroughly. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:40 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.
