May 6 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping lightly - stirring a bit. Her diaper is dry.

• Maureen never went back to sleep. The day officially began @ 8:20AM.

• We found Maureen in good form. She is alert and engaged. Her diaper was dry. Maya cleaned Maureen throughly with a package of the heatable wipes in the purple package. She then put a fresh pull up and pants on Maureen.

• Based on the Amy 5-6 Overnight Update, we estimate that Maureen last urinated at approximately 5:30AM.

• Breakfast began @ 8:35AM. Maureen is sitting upright in the day chair unassisted—tilted just a bit to the right today.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 glass of prune juice throughout the morning.

• Coughing was minimal during breakfast—only a few times.

• Based on heavy nasal congestion, we will administer a dose of Flonase in each nostril.

• 8:52AM - Blood pressure and baby aspirin administered.

• GENERAL OBSERVATION> Maureen is much more talkative this morning. It is the best she has been all week. She is laughing and smiling far more frequently.

• 9:35AM - MATERIAL CHANGE IN DISPOSITION> Maureen's demeanor changed dramatically in the last 10 minus. She is now frowning. Her brow is furrowed. Leaning forward in chair. Drooling occasionally. This pretty much came out of nowhere.

• 10:10AM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was dry. She urinated in the toilet. It was partially cloudy.

• 12:35 | Lunch - It is Pasta Thursday. Chef Brian prepared organic spaghetti and marinara.

• 1:15 - Maya and Kathy shampooed Maureen’s hair with Selsun Blue - Medicated. We will need to shampoo Maureen’s hair with Selsun Blue twice a week for the next week few weeks to treat her psoriasis.

• 2:10PM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up. She is completely dry. It has now been four hours since Maureen last urinated.

• 2:25PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was wet. The urine seeped through to her pants. She did not urinate in the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up and fresh pair of pants.

• 3:45PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was wet. The urine seeped through to her pants. She did not urinate in the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen, put a new pull up on and a fresh pair of pants.
