May 4 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Sleeping

• 6:45AM - Maureen began to stir. Her diaper is now wet

• 7:00AM - Maureen is now going in and out of sleep.

• 8:00AM - No change. Maureen continues to sleep.

• 8:25AM - Despite all of the pounding from the roofers, Maureen is unfazed. She continues to sleep.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:40AM. She is alert and engaged. Congestion is heavy. The diaper is medium wet. Maureen also had a very small formed bowel movement. Wednesday is bed bath day. Click/tap here for a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use each week.

• Breakfast service began @ 9:27AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. Maureen is listing a bit to the left. We used the two wedge pillows to straighten her posture. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• General observations @ 9:44AM> Today is bed bath day. This always pushes back our schedule a bit. Maureen is somewhat heavily congested this morning. It was apparent to both Maya and me from the get go. We are now halfway through breakfast. It is going well. Engagement, communication and responsiveness are all good. Eyes are wide open for the most part. Coughing has not been very much of an issue so far.

• 10:10AM - Morning oral care

• 10:30AM - Maya and I tiled the geri chair back one notch for Maureen's general comfort and to relieve stress on her lower back.

• 10:32AM - Morning facial routine including hands and arms

• 11:03AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:30AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was heavy wet. Maya and I performed a clean & change. We then placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:47AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

• 12:24PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper is light wet. We shampooed Maureen's hair in the inflatable basin.

• 12:50PM - We took Maureen to the kitchen. Maya added some styling mousse to Maureen's hair.

• 12:57PM - Lunch | Maya prepared 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted sourdough bread, 1/2 a bowl of homemade vegetable soup and a serving of beets. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service.

• 1:52PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:16PM - We headed to the bedroom in advance of Rest Break #2. Diaper was medium wet. Maya and I performed a clean & change and then we placed Maureen on her right side.

• 2:30PM - Rest Break #2 begins

• 3:03PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is light wet. Maya and I performed a clean& change. We then transported Maureen to the front room for the remainder of the day. Awaiting her will be a medley of fruit and TPIR!
