May 3 daytime update

• Maureen has been wake since 6:30AM. Her voice sounds rather gravelly. According to the May 2-3 overnight update, she last urinated between 5:30AM to 6:00AM.

• Day began at 8:05AM. Maureen is in good spirits. Her diaper was dry.

• 8:17AM - Maureen is sitting upright in her day chair without assistance.

• Maureen will drink 1/2 glass of prune juice this morning.

• Nasal congestion is minimal. Since Maureen received a dose of Flonase at 4:00AM this morning, we will not administer another dose during the daytime period.

• Breakfast proceeded without incident. Maureen did not cough once.

• 8:39AM - Blood pressure is 125/75.

• 8:43AM - Morning meds administered—baby aspirin and blood pressure.

• 8:55AM - Maureen has begun to tilt directly forward in her day chair.

• 9:00AM - Maya inserted one of the wedge pillows directly in front of Maureen to straighten out her posture. Maureen has also start to drool some what frequently.

• 9:55AM - Maureen continues to lean forward significantly and drool from the mouth.

• 11:55AM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was soaked—seeped through to her pants. She did not urinate in the toilet. Maya cleaned Maureen thoroughly and put a fresh pull up and pair of pants on her.

• 12:55PM - Maureen is tilting forward in the day chair. She is drooling from her mouth frequently.

• Maureen continues to slump forward significantly throughout the afternoon.

• 3:25PM - We went to the bathroom. Maureen's pull up was soaked—seeped through to her pants again. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a fresh pull up and pair of pants.
