June 23 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen remains awake. She has been so since 5:40AM.

• 7:45AM - After stirring for a while, Maureen is now sleeping—actually snoring as I type. It is unlikely she will remain that way for long.

• Our day officially began @ 7:58AM. Maureen is good form. Her diaper was wet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen with warmed wipes contained in the purple packets—then we put on a new pull up and clean pair of shorts. We did not observe any redness on Maureen's posterior.

• Breakfast service began at 8:17AM. Maureen is sitting almost perfectly upright in the day chair without assistance. She is alert and engaged.

• As per usual, Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of prune juice.

• No nasal congestion is visible; therefore, we will not administer any Flonase.

• Coughing was nonexistent during breakfast service today. Maureen did not cough a single time.

• 8:47AM - Maureen began tilting to the right in the day chair. It got to the point where Maya inserted s green wedge pillow into the day chair to straighten her posture.

• 8:52AM - Maureen drooled for the first time—out of the right side of her mouth.

• 9:01AM - Maureen is showing slight signs of losing energy—frowning, furrowed brow and more drooling.

• 9:45AM - Maureen had a good session of hand, arm and leg exercises with Maya. She was active, engage and energetic.

• 10:10AM - We moved Maureen to the lift recliner in the front room.

• 11:20AM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It was wet. We proceeded to the bathroom. The pull up contained the urine—no seepage. Maureen did not do anything more in the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put a new pull up on her.

• 12:20PM - It is Pasta Thursday—a day early. Chef Brian prepared his signature salad and spinach ravioli. Maureen also had a small serving of rice pudding for desert.

• Maureen's posture in the day chair during launch was very good for the most part. She started to tilt to the left a bit as lunch wrapped up.

• 1:35PM - Maureen remains in the day chair. Her posture continues to be straight upright for the most part without assistance.

• 1:42PM - Maya observed Maureen's pull up was wet. We moved to the bathroom and waited 20 minutes. Maureen did not urinate or defecate in the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned and put a new pull up on her.

• KAMA is back in da house. Kathy and Maya put on a fine follicle display in shampooing and styling Maureen's hair. Their reviews on Yelp are already skyrocketing—4.95 stars. KAMA is trending on Twitter. #KAMA!!!

• 3:04PM - Fruit snack

• 3:20PM - Maya noted Maureen's pull up was wet again. We headed to the bathroom. The urine seeped through the pull up onto Maureen's shorts. We waited 15 minutes on the toilet as Maureen was writhing around a good deal during the 1:42PM bathroom visit. This is usually a sign she has to move her bowels. We struck out. Nothing happened on the toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up and a fresh pair of shorts.
