July 6 daytime update

6:30AM - Maureen is sleeping.
6:50AM - Maureen is now awake. She nods back off to sleep occasionally. We will give her water periodically using a pink mouth swab as long as she is fully awake.
Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is alert and engaged. Congestion is minimal. The diaper is medium wet. Wednesday is bed bath day. Click/tap here for a detailed overview of the process Djon and I use each week.
8:38AM - Djon gave Maureen a dose of Flonase in each nostril.
Breakfast service began @ 8:40AM. Posture in the geri chair is good. Maureen is tilting somewhat to the left. We inserted a green wedge pillow on each side of her and the red velour couch pillow behind her head. Daily MiraLAX dosage: None
Due to a lack of activity, we will administer one Senna pill two hours after Maureen takes her standard morning medications.
9:16AM - Morning oral care. The upper right tooth/gum did not bleed at all.
9:20AM - We tiled the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort.
9:22AM - Facial treatment including arms and hands.
9:26AM - Arm, shoulder, leg and ankle exercises
General observations @ 9:59AM> The morning went well on pretty much all fronts. Maureen has a good amount of energy throughout the breakfast service. She did well with chewing and swallowing. There were only three coughs. Her general disposition was good. The day has gotten off to a good start.
10:00AM - Djon noted that some of Maureen's fingernails were unevenly cut. He used the nail clippers to even them out.
10:25AM - Organic fruit smoothie
11:03AM - We headed to bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was heavy wet. Djon and I completed a clean & change. We then placed Maureen on her right side.
11:14AM - Rest Break #1 begins.
12:14PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper is light wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen and completed the prep work to shampoo her hair
12:37PM - We arrived in kitchen where Djon styled Maureen's hair with a bit of mousse.
12:45PM - Lunch | Djon prepared a serving of Chesapeake Bay shrimp salad, 1/2 a bowl of chicken and pea soup and a medley of the following grilled vegetables: portobello mushrooms, squash and zucchini. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during lunch. For dessert, what could be better on a warm summer day than a small serving of rice pudding with cinnamon.
1:27PM - Djon administered one Senna pill.
General observations @ 1:45PM> Lunch went well. Maureen had a good amount of energy. She was alert and chatty at times. Chewing and swallowing went well. She did cough six times. Maureen remained awake throughout the lunch period.
1:50PM - Afternoon oral care
2:06PM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper was heavy wet. After Djon and I completed a change, we placed Maureen on her left side.
2:20PM - Rest Break #2 begins
3:15PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper was medium wet. Djon and I cleaned and changed Maureen. The three amigos then saddled up and headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.
3:32PM - Fruit snack
