  • Maureen began her day at approximately 8:30AM. She is in good form. Her mouth is very dry. The first thing Tom and I did was to tilt the bed to 90 degrees and give Maureen 5-6 sips of water. As always, she loves it. Tom applied Tolcylen to both big toes. Diaper is medium wet. We then did a clean & change using the warmed wipes from the purple packet. Tom applied 3M Barrier Film to the sacral area. Upon completion of all these tasks, we got Maureen ready for the day.

  • Breakfast service commenced at 9:05AM. Tom gave Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey and then administered the thyroid medication immediately thereafter.

  • Maureen will drink 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • 9:32AM - Tom administered the blood pressure medication.

  • 10:00AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 10:30AM - Tom administered a dose of cough medicine.

  • 11:20AM - Organic fruit smoothie prepared by Maya's sous-chef Tom.

  • 11:55AM - We took Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. The diaper was medium wet. Tom and I perfumed a clean & change and then placed Maureen on her left side.

  • 12:12PM - Rest Break #1 begins.

  • 1:20PM - Rest Break #1 ends. The diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and proceeded to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 1:35 - Lunch | Tom heated up some pasta shells with spinach and peppers that Carolyn prepared a few days ago. Maureen will drink on 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. Tom gave Maureen a small serving of rice pudding for dessert.

  • General observation @ 2:00PM> Maureen's engagement level has been above normal all day. She is very verbal. It is amazing considering she is at the tail end of her dance with COIVD.

  • 2:35PM - Afternoon oral care

  • 2:50PM - Considering how late in the day it is, we decided to skip Rest Break #2. Before heading to the front room, Tom checked Maureen's diaper once again because it was dry when Rest Break #1 ended. Amazingly, it was still dry. We headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

  • 3:45PM - Afternoon fruit snack
