January 16 daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is lying on her right side.

  • 8:30am Maureen is asleep.

  • 8:45am Maureen is awake. We begin our day. Diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change and applied 3M products. We noted redness under Maureen's left and right breast - we applied a layer of Nystatin to the areas. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:03am Administered Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 9:05am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 8 oz prune juice.

  • Daily Miralax dosage - 1/2 cap.

  • 9:38am Administered Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce, 20mL Guaifenesin.

  • 9:45am Oral care.

  • 9:50am We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for Maureen's comfort.

  • 9:55am Eye wash and eye drops.

  • 10:00am Morning facial routine.

  • 10:30am Fruit smoothie.

  • 11:05am Nebulizer treatment - saline.

  • 11:15am Nebulizer treatment - albuterol.

  • 11:30am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 11:40am.

  • 12:40pm Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:48pm Lunch - Green pea soup, sliced tomato, tuna salad, a bottle of organic coconut water, cup of water.

  • 1:25pm Oral care.

  • 1:32pm We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • 1:38pm Administered 20mL Guaifenesin. Nasal mist sprayed twice in each nostril.

  • 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is light wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 2:12pm.

  • 3:12pm Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change and headed to the front room.

  • 3:35pm Fruit snack.
