January 11 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is awake. According to the overnight blog post, she has been awake since 5:00AM.

• 7:00AM - Maureen is chatting and stirring lightly. Maya checked the diaper. It is now wet.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is in good spirits—very chatty. The diaper is medium wet. Maya got the ball rolling by applying Tolcylen to both of Maureen's big toes. We then performed a clean & change using all three 3M Cavilon products where required. Lastly, Maya cleaned all areas of focus on Maureen's upper body with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam. All look great. None require the application of Nystatin Ointment.

• Breakfast service commenced at 8:35AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good with the assistance of both green wedge pillows and Magic Mike. Maya gave Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey followed by the thyroid pill with a minute amount of applesauce.

• Maureen will drink approximately 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:05AM - Maya administered a dose of Robitussin cough syrup.

• 9:10AM - Morning oral care

• 9:20AM - Eyelash cleaning

• 9:25AM - Morning facial treatment

• 9:45AM - Hand, arm and leg exercises

• 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 10:55AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was heavy wet. After completing a clean & change, Maya and I positioned Maureen on her right side.

• 11:04AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 12:15PM - Rest Break #1 wraps up. Diaper was medium wet. After we completed a clean & change, we headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30PM - Lunch | We went off the menu today. Maureen, Tom and Brian enjoyed gyros sandwiches and fries from Nick's Drive In. Maureen only had 1/2 of her sandwich and approximately 1/2 of her fries. She also drank one 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen had a small serving of rice pudding.

• 1:40PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:00PM - It is time for Rest Break #2. We headed to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Maya and I cleaned and changed Maureen and then set her up on her right side.

• 2:14PM - Rest Break #2 begins

• 3:10PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is medium wet. Maya and I did a clean & change. We then proceeded to the front room.

• 3:30PM - Afternoon fruit snack

• 3:47PM - Maya administered a dose of Robitussin cough syrup.
