Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake lying on her left side, still looking sleepy - eyes half way closed. Tom informed he gave him sips of water via swab.

8:30AM - Maureen doesn't look like she's ready to start the day, eyes still half way closed. She's receptive to water via swab. She approximately had 2 oz water.

8:45AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 105/64, P: 80bpm, O2: 94%

Neb treatment with saline followed.

9:10AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using water and cetaphil cleanser - no redness on skin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and mived to the kitchen.

9:25AM - Maureen took 10oz of lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - waffle with blueberry jelly, 5 oz coffee and banana. Coughed once (dry).

10:05AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:15AM - Out for a walk.

11:10AM - We had a nice walk although pretty windy outside. Maureen was awake the entire time.

She took 8oz of water with electrolyte powder.

11:30AM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break, diaper was clean and dry. We position to face the right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her then, proceed to transfer to the front room.

12:40PM - Lunch - hotdog, tomato, spinach soup and pineapple sherbet for dessert. She had 10 oz sparkling water. Maureen ate well, coughed 2x.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen sitting calmly on recliner, looking a bit sleepy however, remained awake.

2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got dressed and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack (apple and melon). Maureen took 2oz lemon water before fruit snack.

Total liquid intake - 38 oz
