Friday May 24, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is drifting back to sleep, she’s lying on her left side.

• 8:20am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce. She closed her for few minutes while on her back.

• 8:35am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes . Redness spot by right armpit it’s mostly faded, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50am Breakfast: Oatmeal/blueberries pancake with sliced banana, coffee and a cup of lemon water. Coughed twice.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage: None

• 9:40 Oral care.

• 9:50am Facial routine performed.

• 10:20am Blood pressure: 104/60, P 61.

• 10:30am We take Maureen for a nice walk around the neighborhood. Back home, she had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

• 11:15am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, then positioned on her right side.

• 12:20pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:35pm Lunch: Broccoli soup, roasted chicken salad, crackers, full cup of coconut water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed and sneezed three times and her nose was runny during lunch.

• Reclined Geri one notch during meal, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 1:20pm Oral care.

• Maureen is in good spirits, alert, awake and chatty. She’s sitting well listening to her playlist. Had half cup of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a Small-soft BM, then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana).
