Friday March 22, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left side.

• 8:20am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30am Our day starts by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness observed. Merianne and I cleaned and changed a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacral area and barrier cream to inner thighs. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50am Maureen is having 1/4 pear followed by 8oz prune juice with a full cap Miralax before breakfast.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:05am Breakfast: Oatmeal/blueberries pancake, couple spoons of Greek yogurt with three chopped prunes, coffee, and a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once during breakfast.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap.

• 9:40am Morning oral care.

• 9:50am Facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits relaxed and awake watching a Disney movie.

• Maureen stayed awake the whole time during the movie.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side at 11:45am.

• 12:30pm First break r we ends. Cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper; dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 108/65, P 67.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Ham and cheese grilled sandwich, tomato and avocado salad, full cup of coconut water and Italian ice for dessert. Maureen coughed twice, nose was running.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen’s been awake and alert after lunch, finishing 2/3 cup of ginger tea in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:45pm.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and 1/3 cup of ginger tea. No coughs.
