  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen opened her eyes for a moment but she is drifting back to sleep.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

  • 8:30 am - Maureen is waking up.

  • 8:45 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:00 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:20 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of water.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

  • 10:15 am - we decided to take a stroll before it gets too hot, Maureen seemed to enjoy being outside with a nice breeze kissing her face.

11:05 am- we transferred to

the bedroom for the first

rest break of the day.

Dalia and I cleaned and

changed a medium wet

diaper and placed Maureen

on her right side, supported

by the two wedge pillows and

another pillow between her

legs.

12:15 pm- We got Maureen out of bed, she was dry … Dalia made some fresh egg salad for Maureen to enjoy for lunch, accompanied by some chicken soup, carrots and a full cup of water. Maureen only coughed once during her lunch.

1:15 pm- oral care followed lunch, after oral care was done, the Geri chair was reclined one position and we trimmed Maureen‘s nails while she caught a cat nap.

2:20 pm- we transferred to the bedroom to prepare for rest break #2.

We proceeded to clean and change from a heavy wet diaper and put Maureen on her left side, again supported by the wedge pillows behind her and a pillow between her legs.

3:30 pm- Rest break #2 is over, she is dry, so we are moving to the front room to enjoy some fresh fruit and some game shows.
