8:00am Maureen’s sleep lying on her left side. Tom tells, there was no distress when she woke up around 7:25. She was receptive to sips of water via swab.
8:20am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:30am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
8:50am Breakfast: Fresh pear, cup of lemon water, oatmeal/blueberroes pancake, coffee and 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap miralax. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed twice and her nose was runny during breakfast. Suction pump used once.
9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.
Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
9:40am Oral care.
We decided to give Maureen an albuterol and saline Neb treatment, she sounds a bit congested.
10:05am Facial routine performed.
10:30am Maureen sits with relaxed hands and awake while listening to her playlist.
11:00am Blood pressure: 100/59, P 77.
11:20am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a Small-soft BM, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, then positioned on her right side.
12:20pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:35pm Lunch: Sweetpeas soup, boiled egg, guacamole, root beer and chocolate chips cookie with yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed three times and nose was runny.
Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.
Barb visits Maureen.
1:30pm Oral care.
2:00pm In the afternoon, Maureen seems to be in better spirits, alert and fully awake.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a light wet diaper and a Small-soft BM, then positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and a Medium-soft BM. Dressed and headed to the living room.
3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana), with half cup of lemon water.
