Friday January 26, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is waking up calmly. She’s lying on her left. According to Tom, Maureen’s been in and out of sleep since 5am, accepting sips of water in between.

• 8:40am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.

• 8/50am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta, cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Noticed small redness spot by her right armpit, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:10am Administered 50mg Senna plus w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• 9:25am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/blueberries pancake, couple spoons of Greek yogurt w/2 prunes. Coughed once during meal.

• 9:45 Administered 10mg Loratadine w/yogurt.

• No miralax, Senna plus instead.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 10:00am Morning oral care.

• 10:10am Facial routine performed.

• Maureen is in good spirits, smiling often and politely said “thank you “ during breakfast.

• 10:30am She’s napping on the chair.

• 11:00am Blood pressure: 115/69, p 68.

• 11:10am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side at 11:20.

• 12:15pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Lunch: Grilled turkey and cheese sandwich, guacamole, fresh tomato, full cup of ice sparkling water and Italian ice for dessert. Maureen coughed once.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:20pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen sits with relaxed arms, well alert and awake listening to her playlist.

• She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/pear/kiwi). No coughs.
