Friday, Jan. 23, 2026 - Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's awake, she was on her left side having sips of water via swab. No signs of any distress.


9:50AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


10:00AM - Me and Tom gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and moved to the front room.


10:25AM - Maureen took 10oz lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.


Breakfast - waffle with butter and grape jelly, banana bread, banana and 8 oz apple juice. She also had 2 oz coffee. Maureen coughed 3x, used suction machine.


11:20AM - Oral care.


11:30AM - Neb treatment with albuterol.


12:10PM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. She's leaning back looking relaxed.


12:45PM - Lucy, RN arrived from Journey Care for re-validation.


1:10PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, avocado mash and 11 oz coconut water. Coughed 2x, sneezed 2x.


1:50PM - Oral care.


2:05PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.


3:10PM - Rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got her dressed and moved to the front room.


3:25PM - Fruit snack is melon and apple. Maureen took 10 oz lemon water. No coughs.


4:40PM - Dinner - chicken, mixed veggies and mashed potato. She had 10oz sparkling water. No coughs.


5:40PM - Administered 5mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.


5:55PM - Oral care.


6:10PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face the left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on the back.


6:25PM - Maureen's sleeping.


T - 97. 8

O2 - 97%
