Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 - Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her right side - awake. Tom informed she already had sips of water via swab. No signs of any pain or discomfort.


9:35AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


9:50AM - Me and Tom gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on skin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We changed her and proceed to wash her hair.


10:25AM - We transferred to the front room. Maureen had 10oz lemon water before breakfast. She had waffle with butter and grape jelly, 3oz coffee and 8oz apple juice. She coughed 3x and able to cough out a good amount of phlegm by herself.


11:10AM - Adminisyered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.


11:20AM - Oral care.


Facial and hand care routine.


12:15PM - We transferredMaureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.


12:55PM - 1st rest break ended, diaper was medium wet with medium, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.


1:10PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh avocado, and 12 oz root beer. Coughed 3x, sneezed once.


2:00PM - Oral care.


3:00PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet with small, soft BM. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.


3:45PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.


3:55PM - Maureen had fruit tart which she enjoyed. Took 9 oz water with electrolytes. Coughed once.


4:40PM - Maureen had chicken pot roast at first but started having sneeze attacks, she ate almost half of the serving. Tom decided to give her steak and steamed broccoli which turned out well. No sneezes and coughs until she finished it. She also had 5oz of water with electrolytes.


5:50PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.


6:05PM - Oral care.


6:12PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet with small, soft BM, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face the right side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on the back.


6:30PM - Maureen's sleeping.


T - 97.8

P - 82 bpm

O2 - 96%


Total liquid intake - 44 oz

9:30 AM - Maureen is still sleeping comfortably 10:00 AM - Maureen is stirring about a little bit, so I went in and gave her a little water via swab, not quite ready to move, but getting ready shortly
