Friday, February 17 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sound asleep.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 7:10 Maureen opened her eyes. They looked normal, not wide open, she was blinking. . I administered the morning dose of 0.1 ml Lorazepam and put the oxymeter on her finger. The pulse was 85. Maureen started twitching a little, I heard the clicking sound of her tongue , her pulse was going up, picked at 125. I gave her a second dose of 0.1 Lorazepam at 7:15 am. After four minutes the pulse started gradually going down. Maureen looked normal throughout the episode, I didn't see the distress i saw in the previous episode. By 7:25 twitching stopped , pulse was in the 80-s. Oxygen was always in the 94-97 range.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen is relaxing, closing her eyes at times. Pulse is 75.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is asleep.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

  • 9:00 am- Maureen is deeply asleep.

  • 9:30 am- Maureen is snoring, still deeply asleep.

  • 9:45 am- Maureen started opening her eyes from time to time. She is calm, pulse is 63, O2 - 95.

  • 10:15 am- After being awake for about 10 minutes, Maureen is asleep again.

  • 11:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

  • 11:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 11:;45 am- Maureen opened her eyes. We repositioned her on the right side.

  • 12:00 pm- Maureen is awake now.

  • 12:15 pm - We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied 3 M Cavilon products. We next washed Maureen's upper body. The redness under her breasts is not visible. Her right inner elbow is still a little red. We washed it with soap and water, let it dry and put a thin layer of Nystatin. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:30 pm- Lunch- vegetable soup, eggs salad, red beets, bottle of coconut water with 1/2 cup of Miralax. We started by administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Three coughs, one sneeze during lunch.

  • 12:55 pm- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin with apple sauce.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 1:00 pm- Oral care.

  • 1:10 pm- Facial routine.

  • Maureen has a nice level of energy now. She gave us plenty of smiles, said a few words . There is no congestion, no runny nose.

  • 2:00 pm- Maureen started to lose her energy.

  • 2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and a short rest break. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:45 pm.

  • 3:20 pm- We shortened the rest break. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:35 pm- Fruit snack. Two coughs.
