Friday February 16, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake, sleepy though. As per Tom, she’s been in and out of sleep since about 6:20.

• 8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.

• 8:40am Our day stars giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Marianne and I cleaned and changed a light wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Noticed slight redness by her left arm fold, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Administered 50mg Senna plus (crushed) w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• 9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/blueberries pancake and couple spoons of Greek yogurt w/2 prunes. Coughed once.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine w/yogurt.

• No Miralax, Senna plus instead.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:40am Morning oral care and facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits awake and relaxed listening to her playlist.

• Maureen had 1/3 cup of lemon water.

• 11:10am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right at 11:20.

• 12:20pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:35pm Blood pressure: 108/63, P 71.

• 12:40pm Lunch: Grilled turkey breast/cheese sandwich, fresh tomato, full cup of root beer and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:25pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is fully awake and in good spirits while listening music.

• 2:30pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side starting at 2:45.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). She also had half cup of lemon water. Coughed once.
