6:30am Maureen sleeps lying on her left side.
7:00am She’s accepting sips of water via swab. Calmly opened her eyes few minutes ago.
7:30am Maureen’s going back to sleep.
8:00am She’s in and out of sleep.
8:30am Maureen is receiving sips of water via swab.
8:50am Maureen‘s fully awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:00am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath, changing an cleaning a dry diaper and applying Cavilon barrier and cream. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:20am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. Maureen coughed once , suction pump used.
9:35am Administered 10mg Loratadine.
Daily Miralax dosage: None.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
9:50am Morning oral care.
10:00am Facial routine.
10:20am Maureen seats on the chair in good posture, alert, smiley and in good spirits while listening to Christmas carols.
10:40am Blood pressure: 105/64, P 67.
11:20am Maureen’s been awake the whole time, finishing her first cup of lemon water meanwhile.
11:30am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first resting break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper and positioned on her right side at 11:45.
12:35pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.
12:45pm Lunch: Brussels Sprout soup, tuna salad with diced tomatoes, full cup of sparkling water and rice pudding for dessert which she enjoyed. No coughs.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
1:30pm Oral care.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for the second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:45.
3:30pm Second resting break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living area .
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/pear/kiwi).
Maureen ‘s energy level has been good throughout the day. She’s not congested or tired. All good ! 🙏
