Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's sleeping soundlessly - looking comfortable lying on her left side.

8:30AM - Maureen is still sleeping.

9:00AM - Maureen is still in her deep sleep.

9:26AM - She opened her eyes - she was slightly twitching, hands relaxed, no clenched jaw or fists. Pulse on normal range at 90bpm and went down somewhere in the 70s 6mins after.

9:40AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position after she calmed down and ready to start her day. Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 108/70, P: 66 bpm

10:00AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath. No rashes and redness on skin. Diaper was medium wet, no vaginal discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We dressed and washed Maureen's hair. Transferred after to blow dry and style the hair.

10:35AM - Gave the 6oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and yogurt.

..proceed with the hair.

10:50AM - **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

Maureen ate the rest of her breakfast, oatmeal pancake and coffee. Coughed 2x.

MiraLAX dose today - 1/2 cap.

11:20AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

11:30AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

12:15PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. Position to face the right side.

12:50PM - 1st rest break shortened and ended. Diaper was still clean and dry, no vaginal discharges. Proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:57PM - Lunch was chicken with rice and veggie soup, a cup of sparkling water. She ate very well. No coughs.

Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen looking calm while sitting on her recliner - awake while listening to the music.

2:40PM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was still clean and dry, waited for atleast 3-5mins to pee however, still dry. Position to face her left side.

3:05PM - Katie, RN from Journey Care arrived for re-assessment.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Finished dressing and moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Maureen had 1/3 cup of lemon water prior to fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
