Friday August 30, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen woke up calmly few minutes ago. After having sips of water via swab, she’s closing her eyes again.

• 8:35am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen a full body bath using wet washcloth and Cetaphil cleanser, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Noticed slight trace of clear vaginal discharge. Dressed and continued to wash Maureen’s hair, and then headed to the kitchen.

• 9:05am Breakfast starts with 8oz prune juice, and 4oz Activia.

• 9:15am Administered 10mg Loratadine and 1-50mg Senna plus (crushed) with yogurt.

• Daily senna dosage: 1-50mg

• 9:20am Blow-dry and styled Maureen’s hair.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:35am Breakfast cont. with oatmeal/blueberries pancake and a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• Reclined Geri chair two notches for comfort.

• 10:10am Oral care.

• 10:20am Facial routine performed.

• Maureen closed her eyes as soon as she was done with her morning routine, with relaxed head back, napped for about 40 minutes.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 104/65, P 66.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Shrimp salad with beet and avocado, full cup of sparkling water and ice cream with chocolate chips cookie for dessert. Coughed once.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen stayed relaxed and alert the whole time. She had 3/4 cup of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/xchange a medium wet diaper with slight trace of vaginal discharge. Dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 3/4 cup of lemon water.
