Maureen was sleeping soundly when a slight seizure began at approximately 8:20AM.
Maya and Brian turned Maureen on her left side and woke Tom immediately.
The following was taking place: arms twitching frequently, clenched jaw, tightened neck muscles, heavily breathing through the nose, eyes not shifting and general unresponsiveness.
This slight seizure lasted for approximately 25 minutes.
These are the identical signs/symptoms we saw in the last slight seizure.
It is now 8:50AM. Maureen is lying awake comfortably in bed.
Maureen is now actively responding to basic questions - a good sign.
We began the process of getting Maureen out of bed at 9:15AM. She had a very sizable soft stool in her pull up. The pull up was also wet. Maya changed and thoroughly cleaned Maureen.
Maureen is in good spirits sitting in an erect position in her day chair. She is conversing with us during breakfast.
We ARE NOT going to administer Colace this morning.
Nose is congested. We are not going to administer Robitussin.
10:00AM - Maureen is showing no adverse side effects from the slight seizure. She is attentive, energized and smiling.
11:15AM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. She did not have to go. Pull up was dry. We did not change it.
1:20PM - Maureen had a wet pull up She did not urinate or move her bowels.
3:20PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. She had a wet pull up. Did not urinate or move her bowels in the toilet.
