August 12 daytime update

  • 8:00am Our morning begins. Diaper is dry. We cleaned and changed and applied 3M products. We washed Maureen’s upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We dressed for the day.

  • 8:16am Sandy is helping Maureen through a series of stretches in bed.

  • 8:38am Nebulizer treatment.

  • 8:52am Spoonful of Manuka honey and thyroid pill with applesauce.

  • 8:54am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 6 oz prune juice. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 9:18am Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

  • 9:22am Oral care.

  • 9:27am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.

  • 9:40am We headed outside for a stroll in the neighborhood.

  • 10:25am We returned to the house. We walked a total of 1.23 miles.

  • 10:33am Fruit smoothie. No coughs.

  • 11:00am Flonase.

  • 11:05am We headed to the bedroom for rest period #1. Maureen’s diaper is heavy wet and she had a large, soft bowel movement - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:14am.

  • 12:14pm Rest period #2 is over. Maureen’s diaper is heavy wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:28pm Lunch - chicken noodle soup, shrimp salad, grilled vegetables, and a bottle of organic coconut water. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 1:15pm FaceTime call with Maya.

  • 1:45pm Oral care.

  • 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:08pm.

  • 3:08pm Rest period #2 is over. Maureen’s diaper is heavy wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:23pm Fruit snack.
