April 3, 2021 Weekend Shift Update

5:00am Maureen is asleep and laying comfortably. She is dry.

7:50am Maureen is awake and talking. We begin getting ready for the day starting with a bed bath and change of fresh clothes.

8:17am Maureen had a seizure while getting dressed for the day. Tom and I put her on her side and made sure her airways are clean. Her tongue is flat, made sure she is not choking. Cleared out her nose with bulb syringe and q tips. Left nostril had bloody secretions.

8:45am HR 106 RR 18 O2 95%

9:00am HR 104 RR14 O2 98%

9:15am Maureen urinated and had a bowel movement in bed. Formed, normal (foul) odor, cleaned and new pull up put on. Maureen is lying on her left side and is coughing to clear her airway. 9:27am Maureen appears to be more comfortable than earlier, asleep and lying on her left side. 10:00am Maureen is sleeping and lying on her left side. Comfortable, airways and throat clear, breathing sounds clear. Will continue to monitor.

11:17am Visit with Bart. Maureen has opened her eyes, speaking some words. Breathing is rhythmic and clear, no congestion. still lying on her left side. 12:00pm Maureen is awake and moving around in bed. Diaper is wet, changed. She appears to have returned to her baseline mental status. 12:15 Daily meds given with applesauce. 1:05pm Maureen finished brunch, oatmeal with banana. Maureen ate 100% and drank one full cup of water and one full cup of prune juice. 1:30pm Tom and I took Maureen downstairs using the chair lift to see the new patio in the back. 1:55pm We took Maureen to the bathroom, diaper was wet, changed, she did not go in the toilet. 2:10pm Massage time with sister Roberta.

2:30pm Maureen had some fruit during her massage.

3:33pm Maureen had another seizure while working with sister Roberta while in the recliner. I quickly turned her to her left side and made sure her airways are cleared and tongue flat. Lasted about 45 seconds, she is now lying in the recliner. Vitals:
