April 28 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping lightly—talking to herself occasionally. Maya checked her diaper. It is dry. Based on the April 27-28 overnight update, the last time Maureen urinated is between 3:00AM to 5:30AM.

• 7:55AM - Maureen has been awake and chatting in bed for the last 30 minutes.

• Day began @ 8:05AM. Maureen is in a good frame of mind. Her diaper was was dry. Maya cleaned Maureen and put on a a fresh pull up.

• 8:20AM - Maureen is sitting upright in the day chair without assistance.

• 8:25AM - Blood pressure is 130/85.

• Nasal congestion is negligible. We decided to skip the Flonase.

• Maureen will drink 1/2 cup of prune juice this morning.

• Breakfast proceeded without incident. Maureen only coughed a few times.

• 8:44AM - Blood pressure medication administered along with baby aspirin.

• 9:23AM - Maureen remains upright in the day chair with no assistance! Great to see.

• GENERAL OBSERVATION> Maureen's level of energy, engagement and responsiveness is much greater today than Monday and Tuesday.

• 9:38AM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. It had been at least 4 hours since she last went. Her pull up was dry. Unfortunately, Maureen did not go. We waited 25 minutes. She sat upright without assistance on the commode for the entire we were in the bathroom. Maya wiped Maureen afterwards. She noted a very minute amount of blood on the wipe from the rectal area.

• 10:23AM - Maureen remains sitting upright in the day chair without assistance! She is now enjoying her morning fruit smoothie.

• 10:40AM - Shampoo and style hair by Maya.

• 11:05AM - Blood pressure is 125/75.

• 12:26 - We took Maureen to the bathroom just prior to lunch. Her pull up was soaked. Maya checked the pull up at noon. It was dry. Maureen also urinated in the toilet. It was slightly cloudy.

• 3:05PM - We headed to the bathroom. Maureen's pull up was damp. At 3:15, she urinated a decent amount in the toilet. It was cloudy.
