  • 9:40AM - Day has officially began. Diaper was wet. Maya cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up. We used the Hoyer Lift and the general purpose sling for the transfer to the day chair. The lift has been a huge net positive for this transfer—for Maureen and we caregivers.

  • Per Tom and Carolyn, we will not administer the 5mg of Escitalopram (Lexapro) today.

  • Maureen's disposition is good. Her posture in the day chair is erect—with not wedge pillow assistance.

  • Nasal congestion is significant this morning. We will administer a dose of Flonase.

  • Maureen will once again drink 1/2 cup of prune juice.

  • Coughing was minimal this morning during breakfast—2 to 3 times at most.

  • 10:45AM - Maureen's overall disposition has deteriorated. Her forehead is a bit furrowed. Engagement snd responsiveness have decreased.

  • Maya observed that Maureen's arms and legs are very loose today—no stiffness at all.

  • 11:05AM - Fruit smoothie snack

  • 11:38AM - Maureen has begun to slump forward in the day chair.

  • 1:20PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was wet. She did not urinate but did have a very small bowel movement in the toilet. Maya cleaned her thoroughly and put on a fresh pull up.
