April 10, 2021 Dayshift Weekend Update

5:00am Maureen is soundly asleep in bed lying in her left side. 7:45am Maureen is stirring, but still asleep. 7:55am We begin our day. Maureen is wet. Cleaned, and new pull-up out on. I gave Maureen a bed bath. New shirt and pants put on. Tom and I transferred Maureen from the bed to the day chair using the Hoyer lift. 8:10am Breakfast time. Oatmeal and banana, Maureen ate 100%. Maureen also finished her 1/2cup prune juice with 1/2 cup water. 8:25am Morning medications administered with applesauce. 8:27am Oral care. No blood assessed.

8:50am Maureen did some hand exercises with grabbing and squeezing a ball, as well as lower body exercises (hip/knee extensions). Maureen tolerated the exercises well. 9:40am Tom and I transferred Maureen from the day chair to the recliner using the Hoyet lift.

11:15am We took Maureen to the bathroom. She did not urinate or defecate. Pull-up was wet, cleaned and changed to dry pull-up. 11:30am Maureen had a visit from Dan and Tory. Maureen was not as involved with conversation, she is tired. 12:10pm Lunch time. Maureen ate pretty well, chicken, macaroni and cheese, and fries from Chick Fil A. Maureen also drank one full cup of water. Oral care after lunch. 12:50pm Tom and I transferred Maureen from day chair to recliner using the Hoyer lift. Maureen is lying comfortably in recliner covered with a blanket. 1:30pm Maureen seems agitated, she is fidgeting around in her chair and has a disgruntled look on her face.

2:30pm Tom and I transferred Maureen from recliner to day chair using Hoyer lift. Maureen is up to the bathroom. Her pull-up is wet, she did not urinate or defecate. Maureen is now up in the day chair. 2:40pm Maureen is up on the day chair and is talkative and engaging. 3:10pm Maureen finished a big bowl of fruit.
