Wednesday May 6th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is awake, Tom gave her a few swabs of water. We sat her in a upright position and gave her a albuterol breathing treatment. Also 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/applesauce & she drank 6oz of water w/Thick-It.

Morning Care- Maureen's diaper was dry w/medium VD odorless and yellow. Applied sureprep to her sacrum area and cavilon between her inner thighs. We washed Maureen's upper extremities w/warm purple wipes & dressed her for the day.

-10:30am transferred Maureen into the living room. While putting her teeth in (bottom partial) she bit & cracked the partial. Tom took the partial to the dentist, to try & repair. We gave her 10mg of Loratadine & 20ml of cough syrup w/applesauce. Breakfast was a waffle w/jelly & diced kiwi. Maureen drank 8oz.of orange juice w/Thick-It.

-11:15am Oralcare & applied facial and hand cream. Maureen is relaxing/resting listening to music. Alot of tremors this morning...& early afternoon!

-1:15pm afternoon fruit snack diced watermelon. Alot of coughing w/watermelon & 1 suction. To offset the coughing we gave her a cheese danish(half) to absorb the juice from melon.

-2:00pm giving Maureen a albuterol breathing treatment & she finished 10oz.of lemon water.

-2:15pm transferred Maureen into the bedroom for afternoon rest break. We changed her diaper it was heavy wet w/medium VD odorless and yellow. Positioned Maureen on her right side.

-3:15pm starting Maureen's afternoon, she was dry & we dressed her. Transferred Maureen into the living room. She seems to be more calmer & relaxed from the tremors. Maureen finished 10oz.of coconut water.

-3:45pm Barb came over for a visit.

-4:30pm dinner pot roast w/potatoes and carrots.

-5:15pm we gave her 5mg of OlanZapine, 20ml of cough syrup and 12.5mg of Vimpat w/applesauce. Maureen finished 10oz.of sparkling water.

-6:00pm transferred Maureen into the bedroom for bedtime. We changed her diaper it was medium wet w/medium VD odorless & yellow. Applied cavilon between her inner thighs & washed her face and hands. Applied lotion to her legs, feet, hands and face & dressed her for the night. Gave Maureen 500mg of Tylenol w/applesauce & Tom will monitor throughout the night. We positioned Maureen on her left side.
