Wednesday, May 28, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is still sound asleep, she's lying on her left side.

8:30AM - She's still sleeping.

8:55AM - Maureen opened her eyes, we gave her sips of water via swab. She closed her eyes and went back to sleep for 15mins more.

9:20AM - Maureen opened her eyes and looking more awake now, we placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:30AM - Me and Joanna washed her upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry, no v. discharges and redness on the area. We cleaned with warm water and cetaphil cleanser, and we changed her. Applied Cavilom barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the front room.

9:45AM - Maureen had 10oz of water before breakfast.

Breakfast - waffle with blueberry jam and banana. Maureen took 6oz more of lemon water. Coughed once.

10:20AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:30AM - Oral care.

10:35AM - Neb treatment with saline sol'n.

10:50AM - Facial and hand care.

11:05AM - Kelsie, RN and Meghan - social worker arrived for Maureen's regular visit.

Lungs were clear, bowel sounds normo-active. Arm circ - 20cm, Leg circ - 31cm.

Vitals:

BP: 100/68

HR - 68

11:40AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:00PM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

12:45PM - Maureen had a 20min nap. 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and went to the front room.

12:55PM - Lunch - tuna salad, beets, ground beef-bean soup. She had 10oz of sparkling water. Coughed once.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:15PM - Maureen looked relax while on chair. She's less coughing today.

2:30PM - It's time for the 2nd rest break, we transferred her to the bedroom. Diaper was clean and dry. We placed her to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was still dry, we proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).

**Total liquid intake - approximately 28oz
