Wednesday, May 14, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake, lying on her left side - very quiet. No signs of pain or distress.

8:15AM - She closed her eyes and back to sleep.

8:45AM - She's still sleeping.

9:15AM - Maureen woke up although still looking slightly sleepy, we decided to start her day. We placed her in an upright position 10mins after and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:35AM - Me and Joanna washed her upper body with warm purple wipes - no redness on skin. Diaper was dry, we washed her using water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on area. We finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

9:55AM - Maureen had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. She had waffle, banana and 6oz of prune juice. Coughed once.

10:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:50AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

Carolyn arrived.

11:05AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lungs are clear, bowel sounds heard - active. Arm circ - 21cm, arm circ - 31cm

T - 98.4

HR - 72

BP - 100/54

Gave tylenol (syrup), Maureen only took 7.5ml instead of the 15ml due to coughing. She had a cough and sneeze attack, red-faced and got teary eyed.

11:35PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed her in an upright position - head of the bed at 45degree angle due to coughing.

12:00PM - Placed Maureen on her right side.

Closing her eyes for a nap.

12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.

12:55PM - Lunch - chicken salad, potato salad. Maureen had 4oz of coconut water. Coughed 2x.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen settled down from coughing, we tried to give her sips of water but refused. She looked tired while sitting on recliner.

2:35PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break, diaper is clean and dry. We position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry. We got her dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen is chewing well. She had 4oz coconut water.
