Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Day time update.

8:00 am: According to Tom, Maureen was awake at 7:50 am.

8:10 am: Maureen started cough, we used suction pump two times (took some flame).

8:15 am: we raised the bed. Administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

We gave Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta.

The diaper was medium wet.

We cleaned and changed.

We applied Cavilon barrier film and barrier cream.

Dressed and continued to wash her hair before transferring to the kitchen.

9:00 am: Full cup of lemon water.

9:05 am: Blow drying and styling Maureen’s hair.

9:25 am: We teansfered Maureen to the living room.

We reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:30 am: Breakfast: Oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoons of Greek yogurt, 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax.

9:40 am: Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

10:00 am: Morning oral care.

10:05 am: Facial routine performed.

10:15 am: Maureen’s sitting comfortably watching TV.

10:30 am: Carolyn visited Maureen.

11:00 am: Ann RN arrived for Maureen’s weekly visit:

Lungs are clear

Temp: 97.7

HR: 74

BP: 102/62

11:20am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break.

The diaper was dry.

Positioned on her right side at 11:25 am.

12:20 pm: First break ends.

The diaper was very wet. Very large soft BM. Cleaned and changed.

Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

12:40 pm: Lunch: Potato soup, tuna fish salad, tomato, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt.

Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

1:20 pm: Oral care.

1:30 pm: Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

2:30 pm: Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break.

The diaper was very wet.

Cleaned and changed.

Positioned on her left side starting at 2:40 pm.

3:35 pm: Second break done.

The diaper was dry.

We transferred her to the front room.

3:45 pm: fruit snack (watermelon, kiwi and pear).
