Wednesday, March 19, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake and on her left side. She's receptive to water via swab. No signs of any pain or distress.

8:40AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 104/60, P: 60 bpm, O2: 97%

8:55AM - Me and Dalia washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry with very tiny, brownish vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream for inner thighs. We dressed Maureen and proceed to wash her hair.

9:15AM - We transferred her to the kitchen for a quick hair blow-dry and styling.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce and Maureen had 3oz of lemon water. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.

9:25AM - Maureen had poached egg, pear and 8 oz prune juice. Coughed once and sneezed once.

No MiraLAX dose today.

10:10AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:40AM - Maureen had 6oz of lemon water.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lung sounds clear, bowel sounds - a little quiet. Arm circ - 21.5cm, Leg circ - 31cm

Vitals:

T - 97.0

HR - 68

RR - 16 breaths/min

BP : 104/68

11:30AM - Maureen is very much awake today, looking very well and better. We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her, and position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to got Maureen dressed and moved to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and lentil soup. She had 10oz of sparkling water. Maureen ate well, coughed 3x.

**We reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:30PM - Neb treatment - saline and albuterol. Maureen is still phlemy, better than yesterday though. She was able to cough out the phlegm without assistance with the suction machine.

2:00PM - Maureen took atleast 5oz of water with Pedialyte.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wetd and changed her. Dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:40PM - Maureen had 4 oz of water with pedialyte before fruit snack (kiwi, pear and lemon).

**Total liquid intake - 36 oz.
