Wednesday June 30, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner upright. She seems a bit sleepy.

• 5:35pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet. We proceed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, Maureen did not urinate more or move her bowels. We returned to the day chair until dinner time.

• 6:15pm Dinner time. Tonight is taco night courtesy of chef Djon. Maureen enjoyed a beef taco with rice and drank one cup of water. Maureen sat upright the entire meal unassisted and is talkative. Maureen looked to her right multiple times to look at Tom and Tommy. She also ate very well focusing on her right side. Maureen’s legs are very active tonight, moving up and down and stomping.

• 7:14pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:44pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is slightly wet. Cleaned and changed to a new diaper. No redness observed. Removed socks and applied Vicks to chest. Pillow placed between legs. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her right side.
