Wednesday, July 9, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake, looking relaxed while on her left side. She had sips of water via swab. No signs of any distress or pain.

8:35AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Joanna washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness on skin. Diaper was dry with large, light brown vaginal discharge. We wash her using water and Cetaphil cleanser, dried and changed her. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

9:00AM - Maureen took 8oz of lemon water before breakfast.

Breakfast - waffle with strawberry jelly, pear and 4oz of prune. Maureen also drink addt'l 5 oz of water/apple juice. Coughed 3x and she was able to cough up the phlegm by herself once.

9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:50AM - Oral care.

Neb treatment with saline.

10:30AM - Carolyn arrived.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

11:40AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Hypoactive bowel sounds heard. Arm circumference - 19cm, Leg circumference - 31cm. Lung sounds clear, sounds heard in the throar due to phlegm.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry, we got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

12:45PM - Lunch - chicken salad, avocado, chicken-rice soup. Maureen finished 10oz of sparkling water. Coughed 3x and multiple sneezes.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen had 2oz of water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with medium, cloudy v. discharge, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
